GN SOLIDS CONTROL has successfully delivered two sets of 240m³ per hour HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling) mud recycling systems to an Australian client. The systems are designed to efficiently treat and recycle drilling mud, meeting the client’s strict environmental and performance standards for trenchless construction projects.
Each system is equipped with one 11.5-meter mud tank that serves as the core of the process. The separation stage includes two double-deck shale shakers for coarse solids removal, followed by two desander cones and ten 5-inch desilter cones for fine solids separation. Three centrifugal sand pumps provide continuous feeding power for the hydrocyclones, ensuring stable operation and high separation efficiency.

To complete the system, each unit also includes a mixing hopper and one agitator for effective slurry blending and consistent mud quality. All components are skid-mounted for easy transportation and quick field assembly.

The 240m³ HDD mud system is part of GN’s proven product line for trenchless, piling, and tunneling applications. GN SOLIDS CONTROL continues to expand its global presence by providing reliable and modular mud recycling solutions to customers in Australia, Southeast Asia, and North America.

This successful delivery once again demonstrates GN’s capability in offering complete, high-performance solids control systems that help clients achieve cleaner operations and reduced waste handling costs.
