GN Solids Control is pleased to announce the successful deployment of five GNLW764A-VFD large-bowl decanter centrifuges for an overseas mine tailings slurry separation project. Designed for high-volume slurry processing and demanding operating conditions, these units provide an efficient solution for mining solid-liquid separation.

The GN GNLW764A-VFD decanter centrifuge features a large 30-inch (760 mm) bowl diameter and a bowl length of 3,160 mm, with a length-to-diameter ratio of 4.2:1. This large-bowl design enables a single unit to handle substantial slurry volumes, helping improve processing efficiency in demanding applications.
Equipped with a variable-frequency drive system, the centrifuge allows operating parameters to be adjusted to suit different material conditions and separation requirements. With a maximum bowl speed of 2,650 RPM and a maximum centrifugal force of 2,900 G, the unit is designed to deliver reliable separation performance. Its typical operating speed ranges from 0 to 2,200 RPM, with a typical centrifugal force of up to 2,060 G.

To address the abrasive nature of mining slurry, GN incorporates tungsten carbide protection at key wear areas, including the slurry distribution port, solids discharge port, and screw conveyor inside the bowl. These wear-resistant features help extend service life during continuous operation.
Beyond mining tailings treatment, the GN 30-inch decanter centrifuge is also suitable for TBM slurry cleaning, dredging slurry separation, municipal sewage sludge treatment, and industrial wastewater treatment.

GN Solids Control continues to provide robust and application-oriented separation equipment to support efficient solid-liquid separation across the global mining industry.
